Working in the tree industry creates large quantities of hard and softwood mulch. We recognise tree mulch as a precious resource that value adds to our business and treat it with the respect it deserves. We compost, process and sort the mulch into a variety of outstanding products based on Australian Standard 4454 and our client’s specific requirements. Mulch is a great additive to garden beds adding vital organic matter for soil microbiology, controlling soil temperature, reducing evaporation and reducing the competition from weeds.
We offer the following products:
Fresh Mulch – We provide this straight off the truck. The consistency will vary based on the trees that were being fed through the chipper by our tree crews on any given day. We find that native hardwood trees tend to deliver the most consistent mulch. Let us know if you are interested and we can arrange for a sample and even delivery.
Forest Mulch – A fantastic everyday mulch that is sold at most landscaping supplies and garden centres. This product is made up of a variety of mulched tree species which has been left to age so that there is no nitrogen drawdown. This mulch is the most popular for everyday gardens and is always in high demand.
Forest Regrind – Screened to <100mm in size and is suitable for large gardens and is also used for erosion and sediment control.
Forest Fines – Screened to <100mm in size and is suitable for large gardens and is also used for erosion and sediment control.
We can arrange for home delivery or alternatively can also load up your own trucks from our storage yard.
Tub Mulch – This mulch is generally coarse and is derived from land clearing.
Tip Mulch – This is a softer coarse mulch that has been pasteurized and screened prior to sale. Minor contamination may be present in this mulch.
Straight Tip Mulch – Is available in large quantities but only to specific customers. Particular licenses and permits must be in place at drop off point prior to delivery.
